- Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level computer based online test conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
CMAT Pattern
- The CMAT is a three hour test which is conducted in a single session. The test comprises four sections with 25 questions & 100 marks each. One can move back & forth between four sections. For each correct answer 4 marks & minus 1 mark for each wrong answer.
1: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
2: Logical Reasoning
3: Language Comprehension
4: General Awareness.
- The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Government for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure. In case there is no central counseling, scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved institutes/University departments.
